It is reported that after the Shanghai Petrochemical Group replaced the original centrifuge and the vacuum filtration unit, it saved about 20,000 yuan in water, steam, electricity and other power costs every day, saving equipment maintenance costs of 2 million yuan each year. According to reports, Shanghai Petrochemical Polyester No. 2 Oxidation Unit was built in the early 1980s and is one of the oldest remaining PTA installations in China.
