A few days ago, the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau clearly put forward the general ideas and objectives for the development of the Yangtze River Channel during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
It is understood that in the next five years, the Yangtze River Channel will increase scientific and technological research and development efforts, greatly enhance the informationization and intelligent service level of the Yangtze River trunk electronic channel map, and achieve four functions: First, automatically identify the water depth of different channels with changes in water level; It is to predict the change of water depth in the channel during a period of time; the third is to replay the ship's navigation trajectory; the fourth is to use the satellite to realize the automatic driving function of the ship. At the same time, the establishment of a modern navigation channel surveying and mapping system will basically realize the informationization, analysis and transmission informationization, automation and standardization of the channel hydrological data collection.
