At the end of last year, the 160,000-ton/year coal-based synthetic oil demonstration project with proprietary intellectual property technology was formally “oiled” by the Shanxi Panan Group. Currently being promoted is the coal-to-oil project of the Shanxi Coal Group.
Followed by coal gasification, this is an important unit of Shanxi chemical development. Shanxi has made great achievements in the field of coal gasification, represented by ash fusion gasification technology, on the basis of strong scientific research. This technology can support coal-to-chemical fertilizer companies to embark on the road to a low-carbon economy. Shanxi is a high-quality nitrogen fertilizer production base in China. Fertilizer is also a major coal chemical industry in Shanxi Province. At present, there are 7 synthetic ammonia enterprises with an annual output of 180,000 tons or more in the province, among which Fengxi, Tianji, and Taihua are among the top 100 companies in the national chemical industry. Strong.
Again, coal coking. The "clean" coal coking technology embodies the advantages of clean coal technology in Shanxi Province. As an area rich in coking coal resources throughout the country and even in the world, Shanxi Province plays a decisive strategic role in both the domestic and international markets, forming clean coal technologies such as high-temperature coking coal. After continuous industrial upgrading, the proportion of coke in Shanxi Province, especially the proportion of large machines that meet the national industrial policy, has increased significantly. At present, chemical production projects have shown a trend of large-scale development and the product chain has been continuously extended. The long-term development of coal coking in Shanxi Province has made the industry developing clean coal technologies with outstanding advantages.
During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period in Shanxi Province, it will also focus on promoting the grouping of resource companies. In terms of R&D, capital, and personnel, group companies have advantages that small companies cannot match. The advantages of large groups formed after integration will provide strong support for the development of low-carbon economy in Shanxi Province.
At present, Shanxi Province has decided that Shanxi coal chemical companies such as Shanxi Coal, Yangmei Coal, Tianji, Taihua will be the leading enterprises in mergers and reorganizations, and will implement strong inter-provincial restructuring.
