[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the “Electromagnetic Radiation Evaluation System and Method Based on Radio Astronomy Instruments and Equipment†applied for by the Xinjiang Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences won the invention patent certificate granted by the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China.
The patent can rapidly test, analyze and evaluate the radiation emission of radio astronomy equipment according to the radio telescope technical indicators and observation requirements, determine the influence of electromagnetic interference of radio astronomical instrument equipment on radio astronomical observations, and provide the equipment equipment shielding requirements. At the same time, it provides a reference basis for electromagnetic compatibility design, shielding and protection, and site radio management of radio telescope systems, and has important engineering significance.
The patent was designed by Liu Qi, a senior engineer of the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory's Microwave Technology Laboratory, and a senior engineer Chen Xi steamed by an engineer, Liu Yanling, and other engineers. He relied on the National Natural Science Foundation of China for research on electromagnetic compatibility assessment of radio astronomical observing systems and FPGA-based radio frequency interference platforms. Testing and site protection technology research and other projects were completed through technical research and engineering practice.
In recent years, electromagnetic technicians of microwave technology laboratories have been undertaking various types of scientific research projects and tasks within the platform, and their technical capabilities and professional level have been continuously improved.
