8. The new "Automotive Sales Management Measures" was formally implemented in July

On July 1, 2017, the “Administrative Measures for Sales of Automobile Brands” implemented for up to 12 years was abolished, and the newly promulgated “Measures for Automobile Sales Management” entered the formal implementation stage. According to the new "Measures," sales of automobiles are no longer limited to auto brand manufacturers authorized direct sales of 4S stores, which breaks the 4S traditional sales model with brand authorization as the core, large-scale supermarkets, auto shopping malls, automotive e-commerce, and automobiles. The new retail platform will become a new vehicle sales channel, which will open up a new era of automobile circulation and diversified competition in the aftermarket, and increase sales channels and forms of automobiles.
