China's Metal Cutting Machine Tool Production Increases by Over 15% in 2011

In December 2011, China produced 64,000 metal cutting machine tools, a year-on-year decrease of 11.21%. Data show that from January to December of 2011, the output of metal cutting machine tools nationwide reached 859,900 units, an increase of 15.11% year-on-year. Among them, the output of data metal-cutting machine tools was 257,000 units, accounting for 29.9% of the total output.

From the perspective of the output of various provinces and cities, from January to December 2011, the first three provinces of China's metal-cutting machine tool production were Liaoning, Zhejiang and Shandong, which accounted for 22.22%, 20.53%, and 16.88% of the total output respectively.
