Compared with the previous subsidies, the new 2015-2016 Beijing old motor vehicle elimination update program will increase the scrap vehicle subsidy by 2,000 yuan, and the heavy-duty diesel vehicle will have a maximum subsidy of more than 20,000 yuan. No longer subsidized.

The plan stipulates that if the owner of the old motor vehicle that has been scrapped is replaced with a new one, the automobile production enterprise will give the owner a new car reward according to the principle that the average standard is not lower than the government subsidy.

Li Kunsheng, director of the Motor Vehicle Emissions Management Office of the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, said that at present, the Beijing Guoyi emission standard vehicle has been used for more than 13 years, and the national second emission standard vehicle has been used for more than 10 years. This part of the vehicle is older and emits. The pollution is high, and the phenomenon of exceeding the standard is relatively serious. It is the key target of governance and supervision.

"To this end, Beijing will gradually eliminate the old vehicles and accelerate the elimination of old vehicles by adopting regional restrictions to promote elimination, economic subsidy incentives, increase enforcement punishment on the road, and strengthen supervision of compliance with standards. The subsidy standards and specific handling regulations for the new program will be released soon. From January 1st, the owner of the old motor vehicle in the city will be scrapped. If the relevant subsidy conditions are met, the subsidy will be processed after the new scheme subsidy standard is issued.

According to the analysis of emission reduction data after the APEC meeting, the single-double emission reduction effect of Beijing is equivalent to the emission reduction effect of eliminating the country's two-country standard vehicles and old cars.
